Title: "Effects of Prox-Regularity on Partial Smoothness"

Abstract: The past ten years has seen much research on inherently non-smooth functions with strong smooth substructures. Partial smoothness combined with prox-regularity provides a broad sub-class of these functions, including the maximum eigenvalue function. The beneficial properties of prox-regularity allow for methods of revealing and analyzing the smooth substructures.
