The Pacific Institute for Mathematical Sciences is sponsoring the Spring
2001 West Coast Optimization Meeting on May 4 and 5, 2001. This
informative meeting brings together researchers and practitioners
The meeting consists of a Social Event on Friday, May 4, and a day of
technical sessions on Saturday, May 5.
The Social Event will be held at 6pm at Jonathan Borwein's residence, and
includes a dinner. Advance sign-up is required and the cost is $20 per
person ($15 for students).
The technical sessions on Saturday, May 5 run from 8:30 am until 3:30pm
and will be held in Room 1100, in the East Academic Annex at Simon Fraser
University. These sessions will consist of short seminars and workshops.
Morning snacks will be provided, and a free, catered lunch will also be
served.
This meeting is informal, and there is no fee (except for the Social
Event). However, registration is required before May 5.
There is no registration fee.
However, participants do need to register.
