Roots of Polynomials Interface
- INSTRUCTIONS -
This interface allows you to calculate on-the-fly all roots of polynomials
with coefficients of either 0 and 1 or -1 and 1. The software permutes through
all possible combinations of polynomials, solving for the roots of each. Then
all roots are plotted on the complex plane (around the origin).
Choose the degree of the polynomial, the size of the image desired and any other
options and then submit. If you are unsure, the default values should generate
an interesting image.

- OPTIONS -
Degree - degree of polynomial; the larger degree, the longer processing time
Coefficients - choose either 0 and 1 or -1 and 1 as coefficients
Image Size - generated image is square and this size on the side (in pixels)
Zoom - this controls the region in view; decreasing zoom magnifies image
Origin - centers the image view; change with zoom to enhance selected areas
Averages - turn on to display values of "averaged" polynomial
Axes - turn on to add axes on graph of the complex plane
Plot - choose B&W for black and white monitors or when printing
