Our tentative schedule is as follows:
The first half of the first day of the workshop will be an introduction to the available technology, and give a detailed presentation of an example electronic document based on an available paper. Some attention will be paid to philosophical as well as technical issues. A draft of what we have in mind can be found in

In the following day and a half the invited contributors will give short
presentations on their papers, each followed by short discussions
of the desired adaptations to the electronic medium.
These talks (and perhaps the initial introduction to the available
technology) will clearly be of interest to the general mathematical
community and will be advertised as such. It is anticipated
that the second day will end with a general forum or panel
discussion on the issues that arise.
On the third day we will try to put together a rough first draft of the electronic document. We hope that the invited contributors will have brought LaTeX or compatible versions of their papers to work from, but those who have not will be encouraged to work collaboratively with those who have, to prepare them for the follow-up work. If the participants can give us enough advance material and warning, we can help with the preparation of LaTeX documents before the workshop begins. This final part of the workshop will be for the invited participants only, because we wish to focus and really try to get something done.
We anticipate that the electronic document will be finished within a few months of the end of the workshop---some time in 1996, and freely distributed on the Net.
