The full functionality of the JavaviewLib is accessible on MS-Windows based operating systems Win9*, WinNT, and Win2K using Internet Explorer 5 or higher. Of course a faster machine and fast net connection implies that your browser will be able to render dense models much more quickly.

Unix users need a special setup including the installation of a virtual machine. Currently we do not provide such a framework for JavaViewLib although JavaView itself gives instructions on how to run JavaView.

Netscape users lose the XML markup tree viewing feature of JavaviewLib, as Netscape is unable to properly parse the JavaView dtd.

Since this package has been implemented with new Maple 6 programming constructs it may fail to import into Maple 5
